Girls Lax Team Joins Roxbury H.S. in Fight Against Cancer

On Wednesday, April 10th, the MBS girls lacrosse team joined forces with players from Roxbury High School to support a Roxbury family whose father is in a fight against cancer.

Members of the Crimson girls lacrosse team purchased t-shirts to support Roxbury firefighter and businessman Jeff Poissant, who is battling prostate cancer.  Jeff’s daughter and son both play lacrosse for Roxbury High School, and they are using the games this week as fundraisers to help defray the cost of his medical bills.

Prior to their game, both teams joined together for a photo in their “No One Fights Alone” t-shirts.
