Although they weren’t in action this week, the MBS girls ice hockey team (4-0) was ranked #1 by NJ.com in the first statewide ranking of the season.
Defensively, the Crimson have allowed just 2 goals this season while tallying 31. Nine different players have at least a goal this season with freshman Jessica Sperling’s seven goals leading the way.
Most recently, MBS defeated Oak Knoll, 6-1, on February 9 as Leah Stecker ’22 and Jessica Sperling ’24 each scored two goals, and Katie Ewig '22 and Lilli Warnock '23 tallied a goal apiece. Goalie Gracie Meyers '23 stopped 26 shots to secure the victory.
