Fradkin '20 Wins Award in Pingry Photo Show

Congratulations to MBS junior Amanda Fradkin ’20, who received a Judges’ Award for her photograph “Soho,” which is on display in the annual Student Photography Exhibition at the Pingry School.

Fradkin was among 30 local students to receive a Judges’ Award out of more than 300 photo submissions. Her photo, which was taken in New York City, is an example of a solarized silver print — a 19th century process where a print is re-exposed to bring out the silver metals in the emulsion.

Other MBS students who were selected to have their photography displayed in the Pingry show are: Mason Guida ’20, Nick Lombardi '21, Kim Magnotta ’21, Katie Sengle ’21, Lily Solomon ’21, Brianna Stewart ’21, and Lily Wieder ’20.

The exhibition runs through Tuesday, March 5th.  The Hostetter Arts Center Gallery is located at the Pingry School, 131 Martinsville Road, Basking Ridge.
