Football Team Finishes Abbreviated Season Unbeaten

The MBS football team defeated Montclair Kimberley, 32-14, on November 21 to cap this year’s abbreviated season with a perfect 4-0 record.

Senior Major Jones ’21 got the Crimson on the scoreboard in the first quarter with a one-yard run. He later hauled in an 11-yard pass from Dante Marinello ’22 in the third quarter.

James Marinello ’22 put the Crimson up, 12-7, at halftime on a 28-yard touchdown run. He also threw an 11-yard touchdown strike to his brother Dante to put MBS on top, 20-7, in the third quarter. 

Senior Aaron Skolnik ’21 scored the final points of the day for MBS as he returned an interception 29 yards for a touchdown.

The victory marked the second time the Crimson defeated MKA this season. MBS opened the season with a 28-10 win over the Cougars at home.
