Field Hockey Tops Madison to Advance to State Semis

The MBS field hockey team advanced to the semifinals of the NJSIAA North West B Tournament on Tuesday, November 17 after topping rival Madison, 2-1, at home.

With the win, the third-seeded Crimson (5-1) avenged a loss to Madison (7-2) earlier in the week. Junior Logan Sutera ’22 put MBS on the board in the third quarter and senior Annabel Plante ’21 scored the decisive goal in the fourth quarter.  

Junior goalie Josie Ashton ’22 allowed only one goal in the fourth quarter.

Morristown-Beard will now face second-seeded West Milford (11-4) in the semifinals on Thursday, November 19 on the road. Go Crimson!
