Fall Sports Captains Participate in Ethical Leadership Training

Last week, captains of the Morristown-Beard fall sports team participated in ethical leadership and facilitation training sessions led by Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Klarissa Karosen and Director of the Center for Academic Writing Kate Muttick '97.

As part of the sessions, the students learned about different leadership styles, communication strategies, and goal-setting for the fall season. The tools they received will help them guide their teammates through the complex stages of group development, creating a cohesive team that learns from the experience.

In the facilitation portion of the workshop, the captains learned how to manage civil conversations that promote productive dialogue.
