Faculty Workshop Addresses Distance Learning

During the mid-day break on Thursday, MBS faculty members gathered on Zoom to share ideas and best practices regarding hybrid and distance learning.

The workshop, which is part of a series organized by Associate Director of Curriculum and Professional Development Dr. Owen Boynton, gave faculty members an opportunity to compare notes and address a number of topics including: 
 

·     Ways to increase student engagement on Zoom

·     The use of break-out rooms for class discussions

·     Assessments during distance learning

·     Effective class projects during distance learning

·     Technology questions
