Emily Kitchin '18 Named Lacrosse All-American

Congratulations to MBS graduate Emily Kitchin ’18, a lacrosse goalkeeper at Franklin & Marshall College who was named an Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association All-American. She was also selected to the Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Kitchin was a repeat All-America selection after earning second team honors in 2019. The junior goalie finished the 2021 season with a 6.51 GAA and .540 save percentage as both marks were among the top 20 in Division III. She led the Centennial conference in both of those categories during the regular season in addition to her conference-best seven victories.

Kitchin saved over 60% of the shots she faced during five different contests, including a season-best 11 saves at Washington College. That standout performance came just one week after stopping 77.8% of Dickinson's shots on goal.

In April, she was named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time in her career.

Majoring in Business, Organizations and Societies, Kitchin has earned inclusion on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll during each of her first two eligible seasons with the Diplomats.
