Emily Kitchin '18 Named a USA Lacrosse All-American

Congratulations to MBS alumna Emily Kitchin ’18, a goalkeeper at Franklin & Marshall College, who was named a USA Lacrosse All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine and was selected as the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. Emily was also a repeat First Team Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association honoree, and she led the Diplomats (18-4) to the Elite 8 in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

With Kitchin as a goalie, the Diplomats were 40-7 during the past four years. As a senior, she allowed just 8.71 goals per game against one of the toughest schedules in the country while stopping 51 percent of the shots she faced. She recorded double-digit saves during seven different contests and stopped at least half of the shots she has faced on 11 different occasions. A two-year team captain, Kitchin made a season-high 15 saves when F&M defeated Salisbury and posted at least 10 saves during both the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 contests.

Emily graduated from Franklin & Marshall in May as a Business, Organizations and Societies major.
