Dragana Trivic Named Head Coach of Girls Tennis Team

Morristown Beard School is pleased to announce that Dragana Trivic has been appointed the head coach of the MBS girls tennis team for the fall 2024 season.

Dragana has been coaching at Morristown Beard School since the spring of 2021 and has coached in both our girls and boys tennis programs for the past 3 years.  Dragana was appointed the Head JV Coach for both programs starting in the fall of 2023 and has served in that capacity to date.

Outside of MBS, Dragana also coaches with the United States Sports Group, where she teaches tennis to children and adults of all ages. Dragana has competed at both the high school (Kearny High School) and college (Drew University) levels, helping her teams win several conference titles including the Watchung Conference (high school), Freedom, and MAC Conferences (college level). During her time at Kearny High School, she was selected as the NJSIAA Scholar Athlete of the Year and was inducted into the Kearny High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009.

“We look forward to her continued leadership and dedication to the tennis programs at Morristown Beard School,” said Upper School Director of Athletics Joanne Dzama. “Dragana is excited to assume this position and hopes to continue the success this program has had at the conference, county, and state levels.  Her vision of strong competitive balance and positive sportsmanship, with an emphasis on team building and collaboration, make her the ideal candidate.”
