Crimson Pick Up First Win of Winter Season as Boys Ice Hockey Prevails

MBS got in the win column in its very first game of the winter sports season as the boys ice hockey team defeated Morristown, 6-1, on Friday night, January 22 at Mennen Arena.

Kareem Al-Azem ’22 put Morristown-Beard (1-0) on the scoreboard with his first goal of his Crimson career. Freshman Henry Fernandez ’24 also notched his first goal for the Crimson, with an assist from his brother Cam Fernandez ’21.

Seth Kaplan ’21 led the way offensively with a pair of goals, including the game-winner in the second period.  MBS also had goals from Hollis Humphries ’23 and Noah Jones ’22.

MBS goalie Luke McManus turned away 20 shots to secure the victory.
