Cornine '15 Selected to Play in NWHL All-Star Game

Congratulations to Morristown-Beard School graduate Kendall Cornine ’15, who was selected to play in the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) All-Star Game next month.  

Cornine, a forward with the Metropolitan Riveters, has scored 17 points (10 goals, 7 assists) in the team’s first 15 games. 

She was drafted sixth overall in the 2018 and finishing her collegiate career as Rochester Institute of Technology’s all-time leading scorer at the Division I level.  At Morristown-Beard School, she set the New Jersey high school all-time scoring record with 199 points (104 goals and 95 assists) and was named the New Jersey High School Player of the Year in 2015. She was also named the New Jersey Devils High School Player of the Year in 2014 and 2015.

The NWHL’s all-star weekend kicks off February 8 with the Skills Challenge, and wraps up with a two-period 4-on-4 event on February 9. Both the skills competition and all-star game will be broadcast on the NWHL’s Twitch channel.
