Coby Schneider '19 Receives Firefighter of the Year Award

Congratulations to MBS graduate Coby Schneider ’19, who recently received the Fireman of the Year Award for his dedicated service at Woodland Hook and Ladder Company No. 1 of the Morris Township Fire Department. Coby, who is a senior at Drew University, has been volunteering at the station for the past year and a half.

“I joined the fire department because I wanted to give back to my community in another way in addition to being an EMT with Morris Minute Men EMS,” said Coby.

During his days at MBS, Coby was a member of the Upper School Chorus and won the Vocal Music Award during his senior year. He was also a talented bassist and guitarist with the MBS Jazz Ensemble and appeared on the Founders Hall stage in shows including “How to Succeed in Business” and “You Can’t Take it With You.”
