At yesterday’s emotional yearbook dedication ceremony, the Salmagundi advisors revealed one of the most anticipated surprises of the school year: the 2025 edition of the MBS yearbook is dedicated to Scott McCormick, a beloved science teacher and longtime track & field coach whose influence at Morristown Beard School spans over 15 years.
The announcement was met with cheers, and heartfelt applause, as students, and colleagues celebrated a man whose dedication to the MBS community has left an indelible mark. Known for his deep knowledge, steady leadership, and genuine care for every student he encounters, Scott has become a pillar of both the academic and athletic programs at MBS.
Whether he’s leading a lesson in the science lab or motivating student-athletes at a meet, Scott brings the same energy, enthusiasm, and integrity to everything he does.
