The best-kept secret on the Morristown Beard School campus is a secret no more. At an emotional yearbook dedication ceremony on Friday, May 31, the advisors announced that the 2024 edition of Salmagundi was dedicated to history teacher Ricky Kamil.
In the yearbook, Ricky Kamil is praised for his commitment to the School, his friendly nature, and his dedication to the students. “Mr. Kamil is always a friendly face around campus whether he is in the classroom or up on stage dancing alongside students at All-School Meeting. He always brings a smile to our faces and his love for teaching radiates throughout campus like no other. Thank you for your guidance, support, and for being one of the best,” the seniors wrote.
The All-School Meeting also celebrated the Senior Class, who were seated in the front rows of the theater, wearing t-shirts of the colleges and universities they will attend in the fall. After the ceremony, the seniors received their yearbooks and took a class photo before celebrating with each other.
Any students who may have missed Friday’s yearbook distribution should see Rachel Platt in the Upper School Office or Rose Borowsky in the Middle School Office to pick up their yearbook.
