Inherit The Wind is a fictional retelling of the 1925 "Scopes Monkey Trial," in which a young Tennessee school teacher was charged with teaching Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution. The play, which was written in 1955, not only serves up a debate about creationism and evolution, but also explores the ongoing conflict between different belief systems and our right to think for ourselves, a conflict that remains topical today.

The play will be staged in Founders Hall at 7:30 p.m. on November 9, 11, and 12.  There will be a 3:30 p.m. matinee on Thursday, November 10.
