Boys Soccer Clinches NJAC Independence Division Title

Congratulations to the MBS boys soccer team for clinching the NJAC Independence Division title following their 2-0 win over Pequannock at home on Tuesday, October 22nd.

In the rain, the Crimson (13-6 overall, 9-1 NJAC) secured the Division crown with goals from junior Justin Green ’21 and senior Dominick Commesso ’20, while senior Massimo Banfi ’20 tallied an assist.  Morristown-Beard goalie Thomas Wohlbruck ’21 stopped five shots to earn the shutout.

In the NJSIAA State Tournament, the MBS boys soccer team is seeded third in Non-Public B North and will host the winner of the Dwight Englewood – Cristo Rey game.
