Boys Lacrosse to Play for Prep B Title Today

The MBS boys varsity lacrosse team will play for the Prep B Championship today — Wednesday, May 15th at 4:30 p.m. — as they host Rutgers Prep on Burke Field.

The Crimson advanced to the title game in dramatic fashion, topping Newark Academy, 11-10, on the road in overtime as senior Blake Bernstein ’19 scored five goals including the game-winner.  Mason Guida added two goals and two assists for MBS while Harry Gregory posted a goal and won 23-of-26 face-offs.

With the win, third-seeded Morristown-Beard (6-12) will now play fourth-seeded Rutgers Prep (8-8), who advanced in another thriller — a 15-14 win over Montclair Kimberley Academy.
