“These players have been committed to the program’s priority on academics and have made it a goal each season,” said Head Coach John Sheppard. “I want to publicly congratulate our faculty and the 2019 baseball program for distinguishing themselves among the most prestigious programs in the nation. Thanks to the committed faculty at Morristown-Beard School, our student-athletes are able to achieve such honors.”

The 2019 Morristown-Beard School varsity baseball team was under the direction of Head Coach John Sheppard along with assistant coaches Joe DeKasar, Ken Monteith, Tom Moore, Scott Schroeder, and Eric Shea.

The American Baseball Coaches Association has a long tradition of recognizing the achievements of baseball coaches and student-athletes. The ABCA/Rawlings All-America Teams are the nation’s oldest, founded in 1949, and the ABCA’s awards program also includes the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Awards, the ABCA/Diamond Regional & National Coaches of the Year and several other awards including the ABCA Hall of Fame and Ethics in Coaching Award.
