Art Students Painting the Windows in Anderson Library

Zach Mazouat’s Art 1 students are beginning to paint the windows in Anderson Library this week with famous works by artists ranging from Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso to Roy Lichtenstein and Keith Haring.

The students began the project by researching artists with some help from Head Librarian Erinn Salge. They then visited the Center for Innovation & Design, where digital arts teacher Deanna Whelan helped them format the images that they chose to paint.

In all, the students will paint nearly 30 windows in Anderson Library using acrylic paint. They will also provide contextual information about the artist and the style of art that the piece represents.

Stay tuned for updates!
