Art of Storytelling Class Crafts Scary Halloween Stories

With the lights dimmed and faux candles flickering, Middle School students in Erinn Salge’s Art of Storytelling class delivered their original bone-chilling stories to their classmates in Kirby Chapel on Halloween morning.

The students have been hard at work learning the aspects of what makes a compelling story and applying that knowledge to craft their own scary stories. On Halloween, the students dressed up in costume and gathered in a dimly-lit Kirby Chapel to enjoy some hot cocoa and share their original spooky tales with their classmates.

After each story, the students offered positive feedback to the speaker about what they enjoyed in the presentation.
