Annual Book Fair to Go Virtual from February 22 - 26

The 3rd annual MBS Book Fair will be a virtual event this year with a full slate of visiting authors from February 22 to 26.

While we are not able to sell books this year, we have an exciting line-up of author events. The entire community is invited to a special author discussion – and part of our Crimson Conversations series – on Wednesday, February 24 at 7 p.m. as author Ibi Zoboi speaks with Yusef Salaam of the "Exonerated Five" about the book Punching the Air. Zoom link to follow. Contact Head Librarian Erinn Salge for more information.

Throughout the week, there will also be a number of workshops for students featuring award-winning writers in conversation about writing and the justice system.

Jeff Zentner, author of The Serpent King, will speak to students on Monday, February 22.  Janae Marks, author of From the Desk of Zoe Washington, and Lisa Moore Ramee, author of Something to Say, will both speak to classes on Thursday, February 25. In addition, ibi Zoboi and Yusef Salaam will speak to the entire School community as part of All-School Meeting on Friday, February 26.
