Amy D'Andrea P'21, '23, '24 Receives Foley Award for Service

Congratulations to MBS parent Amy D’Andrea P’21, ’23, ’24, who received this year’s Foley Award at the Parents Association General Meeting on Thursday, May 16. The Foley Award, which was presented by Head of School Liz Morrison, is given annually to a senior parent whose last child is graduating from MBS, and who has demonstrated extraordinary dedication to Morristown Beard School.

A consistent volunteer at MBS since 2016, Amy D’Andrea has worked as an Executive Board member for two years, served as a class parent for three years, and helped countless committees.

“Always lending a hand, Amy is an incredibly warm ambassador for new families. She has been especially involved in theater and performing arts, and you may have seen her son Henry in his leading roles on stage in Founders Hall,” said Ms. Morrison. “From decorating to cheerleading for the plays and musicals, she has been an incredible supporter of MBS. Her warmth and enthusiasm reverberate all across the community.”

We thank Amy for her many years of volunteer service to MBS!

The award is named for E.J. (Kim) Foley, III who was an MBS trustee from 1989 to 1996 and served as Board President from 1996 to 1999.
