Graduates from the Beard School, the Morristown School, and Morristown-Beard School gathered on campus on Saturday, June 5 to reunite with old friends and enjoy a full slate of activities as part of Alumni Reunion 2021.
On a warm spring evening, alumni enjoyed campus tours, a pizza truck, cocktails, a DJ, photo booth and more as they reminisced with old friends and made new ones. The event also included an alumni memorial and flag raising ceremony on Senior Circle and the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Award, which was given posthumously to Peggy Harding Nelson ’59. A Beard School graduate, Peggy was a dedicated member of the Alumni Board and the Board of Trustees for many years. Peggy’s husband, Glen L. Nelson ’58, and her daughter, trustee Pamela Nelson Davidson ’90, accepted the award on her behalf.
