The rainy weather couldn’t dampen the spirits of the MBS community as an enthusiastic group of alumni and friends gathered for a happy hour in New York City at The Standard, High Line on Wednesday night, October 16th.
The group enjoyed cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres in their own private party room next to the famous Standard Biergarten that featured a foosball table as well as a ping pong table.
Morristown-Beard alumni, trustees, faculty, staff and friends had an opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and share stories from their days on campus.
Headmaster Peter J. Caldwell also updated the group on recent MBS news and initiatives including the success of our fall sports teams and the opening of the new Center for Innovation & Design – an exciting space that will inspire self-directed “design thinking” for the 21st Century.
The event was a lot of fun and many attendees are looking forward to continuing their conversations at future alumni events. Upcoming events on campus include the Lehman Lecture on Thursday, November 14th and the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Friday, November 15th.
