Alex McMahon '25 and Sydney Samson '25 Win Digital Photography Contests

Congratulations to MBS sophomores Alex McMahon ’25 and Sydney Samson ’25, who both recently earned top honors in Laurie Hartman’s Digital Photography class competitions.  For each competition, the students submitted a photograph to best represent a particular theme, and their works were judged anonymously by a panel of MBS faculty members.

Alex McMahon’s image was selected as the winner in the “Architectural Element Point of View” category. His photograph was selected anonymously after earning high marks from a panel of judges that included Art & Design teachers Peter Donahue, Zach Mazouat, and Jaimie Woodruff.

Sydney Samson’s photograph was chosen to best represent the “Industrial or Non-Traditional Landscape” theme. Her photograph was selected unanimously by a panel of judges that was comprised of News & Information Manager Steve Patchett, Digital Arts teacher Ariana Sediq, and Director of Technology Integration & Innovation Caitlin Skobo-Trought.
