World Languages teacher Jenifer Laviola held a live Zoom cooking class with her Advanced Seminar Italian class on Friday, January 8.
Mrs. Laviola guided the students through a cultural, culinary, and language lesson while making pasta as part of their study of the Lombardy and Piedmont regions of Italy. Many of the students prepared the recipe step-by-step, right along with Mrs. Laviola.
To make the pasta, the group combined potatoes, four, egg, and salt and rolled out the dough. They also learned about the sequence of a typical Italian meal as well as related vocabulary.
