Read any good books lately? MBS Head Librarian Erinn Salge certainly has, and this week she shared some recommendations with Melissa Rachel’s 8th Grade English students, who will be doing quite a bit of independent reading this year.
Each month, Mrs. Rachel’s students will visit the Anderson Library to hear about new fiction and non-fiction books that are available.
Some of Mrs. Salge’s recommendations today included:
· Frankly In Love by David Yoon (realistic fiction with heart)
· Monday’s Not Coming by Tiffany D. Jackson (thriller)
· March: Book One by John Lewis and Andrew Aydin (graphic novel)
· Two Can Keep a Secret by Karen McManus (seasonal thriller)
After Mrs. Salge spoke about each book, the students were able to browse the library’s collection that includes non-fiction and fiction e-books as well.
