8th Graders Collect Clothing for The Salvation Army

The MBS 8th Grade Class recently participated in a clothing drive to benefit The Salvation Army of Morristown. The students donated new and gently-used clothing that will be delivered to the nonprofit organization at the end of the week. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Community service is a cornerstone of the Morristown Beard School educational experience, and helps MBS students build character and gain self-confidence on their journey to becoming productive and socially responsible citizens.

The MBS Middle School regularly partners with a number of local organizations as part of its community service program including The Salvation Army, The Seeing Eye, The Neighborhood House, and The Interfaith Food Pantry.

Special thanks to Middle School English teacher Jason Zuck for bringing the clothing to The Salvation Army.
