Morristown Beard School’s partnership with the Interfaith Food Pantry continued this week as 8th Graders from Sara Alders’ advisory teamed up with Jen Laviola and Michael McGrann’s advisory to volunteer at the organization’s headquarters in Morris Plains.

The students who participated included: Nanakwasi Adutwum-Addae ’27, Alex Bedner ’27, Genevieve Bennis ’27, Owen Biegelsen ’27, Jake Breslow ’27, Oliver Herman ’27, Elliott Krupnick ’27, Jack Moore ’27, Valerie Myronova ’27, Zev Podgursky ’27, Mason Schwartz ’27, Emma Tofias ’27, Caleb Wong ’27, and Zach Zweibel ’27.

The students learned about food insecurity and got a quick tour of the facility before helping to sort items. Each 8th Grade advisory will be visiting the IFP during the year.
