7th Graders Make Reading Videos for Preschoolers at The Neighborhood House

Although MBS 7th Graders weren’t able to complete a second round of visits to The Neighborhood House this spring, they continued the service project by recording videos of themselves reading stories for the preschoolers there.

Each advisory group read a different, beloved story for the preschoolers including Pete The CatI Like Myself, and The Thank You Book.

The 7th Graders also donated the actual books and made cards for each classroom.

MBS has enjoyed a long partnership with The Neighborhood House, which is a division of Cornerstone Family Programs (formerly Family Service of Morristown). They strive to build better lives and stronger communities by helping individuals, families, and new immigrants who are confronting economic and other life challenges. Their programs include pre-school, after-school, summer camp, recreation, tutoring, and parenting education programs.
