6th Grade Math Students Learn about Data and Graphing

Over the past few weeks, Mrs. Dubeck’s students in “Intro to Integrated Math A” have been working on data projects and graphing.

The students have been learning the ins and outs of data including the measures of central tendency, bias, and ways to display data.

After collecting data, they made graphs for a number of fun polls including “Which side do you prefer — French fries, onion rings, or tater tots?” and “What language are you taking next year — French, Latin or Spanish?”
