Tardy Policy Reminder
Being on time shows our commitment to engagement and taking responsibility for our learning. Starting November 7, the Middle School Dean will send out Parent Communication Forms (PCFs) for students who have over 5 tardies. Once students reach that mark, detentions can follow. We know mornings can be unpredictable, and we encourage everyone to plan ahead—even traffic requires us to leave a bit earlier. Let's support each other in building these important habits that will serve us well beyond the classroom! Please see our Family Handbook, pages 56-58 for Middle School expectations. Reach out to MS Dean, Nikki Liese P’31 (nliese@mbs.net), with questions about tardies.

8th Grade Upper School Visit Days - Week of November 10 and 17
Our 8th graders have been wondering what it’s like to be a 9th grader within the MBS Upper School spaces. Well, we’ve heard you loud and clear! Get ready, you’ll soon visit the Upper School with a designated 9th-grade student ambassador. During this time, students will shadow three Upper School classes, giving them a real glimpse into the academic experience. Afterward, they’ll enjoy a pizza lunch and have the chance to debrief and chat with the Associate Head of School and Upper School Head Mr. Ryan Liese P’31. The visits will take place during the weeks of November 10 and 17.
