Inside a Federal Case: U.S. Attorney’s Office Visits the MBS ICP Program

Students in the Ethics, Leadership, and Justice cohort of the MBS Interdisciplinary Concentrations Program (ICP) welcomed Paralegal Specialists Ananya Sankar and Braden Florczyk from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, who shared an inside look at the federal justice system, the life cycle of a federal case, and career pathways in federal prosecution, including internship opportunities for undergraduate and law students.

MBS Mock Trial Team Advances to County Semifinals

MBS Mock Trial advanced to the semifinals of the Morris County Tournament for the first time in program history, earning a spot among the county’s top four teams after a perfect 3–0 start and a quarterfinal win. The team will compete in the semifinals on Tuesday, February 3.

Ambassador Marcie Berman Ries ’68 Returns to Campus to Share About Life in Diplomacy

Marcie Berman Ries ’68, a Beard School alumna and distinguished American diplomat, spent the day on campus speaking at an All School Meeting and visiting classes across MBS. Ambassador Ries shared insights from her decades-long career in the U.S. Foreign Service, including her service under multiple U.S. presidents and her roles as U.S. Ambassador to Albania and Bulgaria.
