Dear MBS Families,

It was great to see our students, faculty, and staff back on campus again this week. Our goal is to continue to keep our community together, and we hope you all will continue to follow our COVID-19 safety protocols at School and at home.

Today we distributed two test kits: one is to be used to submit a sample tomorrow, January 22, and the second kit is to be used to submit a sample on Friday, January 29. Please be sure to put next week's testing kit in a safe place. Students only need to bring one sample tomorrow.

Sample collection will occur from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Students should report to Advisory at the regularly scheduled time and will drop off their sample during their specified drop-off time. Upper School sample collection will be in the Main Gym; Middle School will be in Founders Hall Lobby.

Any student who will not be attending school on Friday should make arrangements to have their sample delivered to campus between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.

The results from this week's testing, as well as subsequent weekly test results, will be posted on the COVID test results page on the MBS website (see dashboard below) by Sunday late afternoon. If we are able to continue in-person instruction, the "Campus Status Upcoming Week" column in the dashboard will state "Open." If we need to pivot to distance-learning, the status column will state "Closed."

No notification will be sent out if we continue in-person learning and keep campus open. Remember — no news is good news!

MBS will send out a community-wide notification if we need to close campus and move to distance-learning.

If you have any questions about the COVID testing protocol, please contact the nursing staff or click here.

Sincerely,
