Six Flags Trip — Monday, June 2 (9:00 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.)
8th grade students and chaperones will travel from school to Six Flags. We will start the school day at regular time in advisory, participate in a short Moving Up Rehearsal, and then depart on buses at 9:30 a.m. and return to campus at 5:45 p.m. Field trip permission slips can be found on Google Classroom and should be signed and returned by Friday, May 23 to the advisor.
Please note: Six Flags only accepts card payments at all locations including restaurants, retail stores, and games. You can either pay for purchases using a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or debit card. Only have cash? You can convert your cash to a prepaid debit card at one of the multiple kiosks located throughout the park and anywhere in the U.S. where Visa is accepted. No cash is accepted anywhere. No outside food or drinks allowed in the park. 8th graders should wear an MBS T-shirt on this day.
8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony Moving Up Ceremony — Wednesday, June 4 (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.)
The Class of 2029 will have their Moving Up Ceremony in Founders Hall. We will enjoy a ceremony filled with community, speeches, and music, followed by a short reception. Students must arrive at 8:30 a.m.
*Please note that all 8th-grade students will have daily practices during school time which started on Wednesday, May 28 and will run through June 3. We ask that all students attend all practices.

We are excited to announce that Highpoint Pictures will once again be the photographers for the Moving Up ceremony on Wednesday, June 4.
Individual photos will be available beginning at 8:45 a.m. There will be a class photo at 9:30 a.m. Family photos will be available after the ceremony.
