Pulse Survey

At MBS, Advanced Topics courses are designed by faculty with specialized expertise in areas that fall outside traditional departmental boundaries - either because they are interdisciplinary or extend beyond the standard MBS curriculum. These courses feature reading, writing, and discussion at a rigor comparable to first-year college-level work.

We are exploring the possibility of offering a series of 2-hour Advanced Topics lecture sessions for parents/guardians, and we’d love your feedback. These sessions are designed to provide insight into the program, the level of rigor, and the type of critical thinking and discussion students engage in, while also offering an intellectually enriching experience for parents.

Examples of potential sessions include Is 21st Century the New Renaissance? and Conspiracy Theories: Why We Believe.

The purpose is to help parents/guardians better understand their child’s academic experience, but also to engage with the fascinating questions and themes explored in these classes.

The survey will close on Monday, March 2. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
