Megan Durkin is in her sixth season as an assistant coach of the Morristown-Beard School.
Durkin’s hockey experience includes playing for the New Jersey Colonials, who were the district runner-ups in 2004. She helped direct the Crimson to their fifth straight WILHMA Championship in 2014. Durkin also helped direct the Crimson to their back to back Prep Championship titles in 2017 and 2018.
Durkin is a graduate of Montclair State University with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education & Health Teacher Certification. At MSU, she played softball and was named All-NJAC Conference and earned All-East Region Honors in addition to leading the team to an NJAC Conference Championship and NCAA Regional Tournament appearance. She is currently an adaptive physical education teacher for a private school in Verona, working with students on the autism spectrum.
