Meg Durkin
Megan Durkin is in her seventh year as an assistant coach with MorristownBeard School Girls Ice Hockey program. Durkin’s hockey experience includes playing for the New Jersey Colonials, who were the district runners-up in 2004. She helped direct the Crimson to their fifth straight WILHMA Championship in 2014. Durkin also helped direct the Crimson to their Prep Championship titles in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. She helped coach the Crimson to their first New Jersey State Girls Ice Hockey Tournament in 2020.
Durkin is a graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education & Health Teacher Certification and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. At MSU, she played softball and was named All-NJAC Conference and earned All-East Region Honors in addition to leading the team to an NJAC Conference Championship and NCAA Regional Tournament appearance. She is currently an adaptive physical education teacher at Academy 360 in Verona, teaching students on the Autism Spectrum.
