Joe De Kasar is a veteran assistant coach of baseball and football at Morristown Beard School. He is originally from East Orange High School where he played baseball and football. Upon graduation he attended Upsala College where he played JV basketball and 4 years of football. As a senior he was co- captain and AP Little All American in football.

Following graduation he served 2 years in the Army at Fort Dix where he played basketball and football. After leaving the service Joe was an Assistant Football Coach at Upsala College for 2 years as well as owning, coaching and playing for the Essex Ramblers, a semi professional football team.

Leaving coaching, Joe went into the insurance business retiring from Guardian Life Insurance Company as a Second Vice President. Following retirement he joined the Morristown Beard baseball and football staff as an Assistant Coach.
