Coach Directory
Mark Leibowitz
Mark Leibowitz has been an adjunct Track Coach at Morristown Beard for the last two years. He now
joins us as Co-Head Coach for the ‘24/’25 Indoor Season. Mark has been both a College and High School
Cross Country Coach as well as a High School Indoor and Outdoor Track Coach. He has Over 20 years
experience in both disciplines. This fall Mark served his 1 st season as the weight room Performance
Coach for the MBS football team. His focus is on building more robust athletes in order to make them
better football players.
Mark owns his own training and performance/fitness business and has served in this role since 2003. His
focus as a trainer and coach is mostly one to one, as it allows for focus on the individual. Whether it is in
a team setting or a personal one, the goal is to allow people to be the best versions of themselves while
looking, feeling and moving at their optimum.
Mark has cultivated relationships in NJ with Orthopedic Doctors as well as pain management physicians.
In addition he works closely with physical therapists and chiropractors alike to help people who are
dealing with chronic pain or mechanical issues. His skill set has allowed him to work in the professional
setting including the NFL and MLB. Whether it’s “pros” or “joes”, Mark comments that the body is complex and cannot be treated as one
size fits all. People are snowflakes and must be looked at holistically. “I am looking forward to the opportunity set before me”, comments Mark. Mark was a Track athlete at
Rowan University and hopes to use both his track experience, coaching acumen and role as a
performance coach in order to “accelerate” The Morristown Beard Program.
