Dr. Julie Guempel Rosania ’09 is an Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Morristown Beard School. Julie is an alumna of the Morristown Beard School where she was a 4-year Varsity starter and Captain for both Field Hockey and the Track & Field Team. Julie helped MBS capture the Prep B title in the 2008 season. She also captured 3 Morris County titles in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m races. Julie was first female runner to win a county title for the Crimson since 1983.

She was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015 for both Field Hockey and Track & Field.  After graduating from Morristown Beard, Julie attended Bucknell University where she was named on the Dean’s List and Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Education. From 2013-2015 Julie returned to MBS as an Assistant Field Hockey Coach and Assistant Track and Field Coach while in the process of applying to graduate school. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. Julie now provides telehealth services for a health-tech company. She and her husband also own a private Physical Therapy practice in Verona, NJ that specializes in Sports/Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Women’s Health.
