Mike Wright is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Morristown Beard
football program, but has been coaching and leading his whole life. A product of
Kenilworth NJ’s Brearley HS program, Mike returned to his alma mater as a QC
Coach for several years. He has also volunteered his time coaching travel softball
in Clark, NJ.

Mike was an All-State athlete at Brearley where he started at linebacker for three
years and anchored their 1991 State Championship. Mike also contributed to a
State Championship in track & field and was a successful wrestler. He then went
on to play linebacker at Columbia University, helping to turn that program into
an Ivy League Champion. After he graduated from Columbia, Mike was invited to
play in the Arena Football League.
