Russell Bailey is in his first years as
Varsity girls assistant coach with
Morristown-Beard. He previously was an
assistant coach with Newark Academy as
Varsity Assistant and JV coach. Russell
assisted in the development of Chase
Clarke, who was an all-county 1,000 point
scorer for Newark Academy. Russell
specializes in working with post players
but also has the skill set to develop wing
players and guards.

Russell played high-level high school
basketball for legendary NJ coaches
Greg Tynes and Bob Farrell. He is a
product of a basketball household as his
father coached High School & college for
35+ years. Russell played 2 years of
JUCO basketball at PCCC, where he met
an unfortunate Achilles injury that
derailed his college career.
