Anthony Valvano is an assistant coach of the JV girls ice hockey team at Morristown Beard School.

Before coaching at Morristown Beard, Anthony coached for the past five years with the New Jersey Jets, North Jersey Aviators, North Jersey Kings, New Jersey Freeze and Roxbury Recreation Hockey Program.  These programs include the mite levels through squirt level.  He is a USA Hockey-certified Level 5 coach and currently an assistant coach with the New Jersey Jets 2014’s.  Anthony Valvano played youth hockey for the New Jersey Colonials, Roxbury Recreation and Roxbury High School programs.  He currently plays in an adult league at Sports Care Arena and for the New Jersey State Police Hockey Team.  

Anthony Valvano attended County College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey where he received his associates degree in Criminal Justice.  He is a Detective with the New Jersey State Police and assigned to the Fatal Accident Investigation Unit.  He has two boys, Anthony (9) and Vincent (9), who are active in ice hockey and baseball.  He also has a daughter, Ella (7) who is active in cheerleading and gymnastics.
