Jebarr Spencer is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Morristown Beard
basketball program. Jebarr has been married for 13 years, together they have twins, a
boy and a girl who are 12 years old. Jebarr graduated from Montclair State University
where he majored in Family and Child Studies and minored in Health. Jebarr is currently
working in a Paterson Public School in Special Education, where he’s been for the past
17 years. Jebarr's passion for coaching came at the age of 21 years old.

Jebarr has been coaching basketball for 21 years. He first started coaching in the
Paterson City League, where he won 2 championships in his 3 year tenure. Jebarr
started coaching AAU basketball for a National ranked program where he coached
several future NCAA and NBA players and they competed in high major tournaments
and events.

From 2006- 2011, Jebarr began as an assistant coach, coaching basketball at Paterson
Catholic High School. At PC, the team won three Passaic County Championships. In
2011, PC won the City of Palms Tournament and was ranked 3rd in the country. Many
of the PC players have gone on to play Division 1 basketball and others have gone on
to play professional basketball in the NBA or overseas.

In 2018 to 2023 Jebarr continued as an assistant coach, coaching basketball at
Eastside High School in Paterson, where the team improved its record every season. In
his last season in 2023, Eastside won a Passaic County Championship as well as a
New Jersey State Championship. During his 4 seasons at Eastside High School several
players went on to play college basketball. Jebarr wants to continue his winning tradition
with his new team. He also looks forward to building a positive relationship as well as
molding the minds of his young players and helping them achieve their goals as well as
celebrating their successes.

Jebarr is committed to both personal and professional growth and development and is
excited to be a part of Morristown Beard.
