Barb Erickson is the head coach of the Morristown Beard varsity girls lacrosse and varsity cross country teams.

Coach Erickson comes to MBS with 35 years of teaching and coaching experience, most recently from Ridge High School where she taught for 24 years. She began her lacrosse coaching career at Ridge where she was the head coach for 14 years, taking the lacrosse program over in its 2nd year. Over those 14 years her teams accumulated over 200 wins and enjoyed the successes of multiple county and league championships and a Group 4 Sectional Championship.

Barb has multiple Coach of the Year awards including the Star Ledger Lacrosse Coach of the Year, Courier Lacrosse Coach of the Year, and the Bergen County Coach of the Year for Track and Field.  She has also been inducted into the Rutherford H.S. and NJSCA Hall of Fame and received the NJSIAA Lacrosse Service Award.
