Ice Hockey - Varsity Boys

Michael Braviak is an assistant coach of the JV boys ice hockey team. He is a USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach with over 20 years of ice hockey experience. Michael is also in his 11th season coaching Tier II youth hockey with the New Jersey Colonials. He currently serves as an assistant coach on the U18AA and U14AA teams, and is the head coach of the U12A team. Prior to joining MBS, Michael served as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Morris Catholic High School from 2018-2020.

A native of Whippany, New Jersey, he played his entire youth hockey career with the New Jersey Colonials. He attended Whippany Park High School, where he was a 4-year varsity player, 2-year captain, and 2-time conference all-star. After high school, he attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. While at FDU, he was a member of their NCAA Division III cross country and golf teams.

Michael began his professional career at Lapp Group USA in 2015. After spending three years in their logistics department, he decided to move on and joined GAF Materials Corporation in 2018, where he currently serves in Supply Chain Operations. Michael enjoys the balance he receives from his professional career and his passion for the game of ice hockey.
