Zack has been coaching Cross Country and Track & Field since 2014. Zack was an assistant coach for all age groups for the Madison Recreation Cross Country program in 2014 and 2015. In 2015, Zack became the head coach for the 13-15 boys and girls Madison Recreation Track & Field program. Both boys and girls saw great success throughout the season, culminating with the the girls winning their division meet.
At MBS, Zack was the head Cross Country coach for the 2017 season, and is currently the head coach for Winter Track and the assistant coach for Spring Track. During his time at MBS, he has helped grow the Winter Track program from the ground up. With the first season in 2015-2016, the number of athletes on the team has grown from 7 to 25. He has had multiple athletes over the years gone to the State Meet of Champions and has had several Prep Champions.
Outside of MBS, Zack is the head Cross Country coach for Drew University and a full-time Teacher Assistant in Special Education at Madison High School.
As an athlete, Zack was a varsity letter Cross Country and Track & Field runner for Westwood High School, as well as Cross Country MVP while attending Drew University.
