Kate Alderman joined the MBS Community in 2008 after moving to the United States from England. She attended Brunel University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in sport sciences, with a minor in anatomy and physiology. Thanks to an upbringing that occurred over 3,000 miles away – and her participation with several international school trips – Kate certainly provides a unique global perspective to MBS.
Each year, Kate teaches Wellness classes and a Science Department elective in Sports Medicine. In addition, she currently serves as a Grade Dean as well as the Director of Student Conduct. Through these roles, Kate enjoys connecting with MBS students and supporting them through the highs and lows of high school.
Kate played field hockey in college, and she seeks to pass on her passion for the sport through her role as Head Coach of the MBS Field Hockey team. She also is the assistant coach for the Track and Field team. In addition to coaching, Kate enjoys watching soccer, and she is an avid Tottenham Hotspur fan!
