Casey Boyle
English, History

Casey teaches in the English and History departments at MBS.

In college, Casey majored in English and minored in both History and Asian Studies. While studying abroad in Tokyo, Casey taught English. Casey then earned a master’s degree in education that focused on teaching English.

Law school beckoned. After clerking, Casey practiced law at international firms representing multinational corporations in high-profile commercial bankruptcies and restructurings. Casey’s pro bono work included financial literacy presentations at high schools throughout New York City. Additionally, Casey taught business law and ethics to budding entrepreneurs.

In 2015, Casey turned to teaching full time. Before joining MBS, Casey taught at public high schools in Newark for 10 years, including a year teaching English, a year teaching special education, and eight years teaching political science and criminal justice. A certified supervisor, Casey also oversaw STEAM camps and workshops for middle school students.
